Career

Sebastian Flaake was seconded to Ruhr University Bochum in February 2021. Before that, he taught English, politics/economics and social sciences at a grammar school (Schiller-Gymnasium Witten). He completed his teacher training in Dortmund in 2017 and his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Ruhr University Bochum. During his studies, he worked as a foreign language assistant in Birmingham, England, from 2010-2011.

His surname is spelt with a double A and a single K.
