Sina Werner (M.Ed.) completed her teacher training (English/Biology) in 2019. During her master studies, she gained experience as an English teacher at a vocational college and as a teaching assistant in England. Meanwhile, she also worked as a student assistant at the English department. Since 2019, she is a PhD student and is employed as a research assistant.

From May 2019 to 2021, she also worked in a project focusing on inclusion in (foreign) language teaching (Professional School of Education).

Her research interests are in the area of digitalisation, especially in TBLT and video-based ELT as well as Virtual Exchange. Her PhD project focuses on interactions of students in video- and task-based group work.
