Biography

Alexander Kaul studied English and French at Ruhr-University Bochum and Leeds Trinity University. Apart from that, he worked as a foreign language assistant in Orange, France, for half a year. He received his Master of Education in 2017 and completed his teacher training in Bocholt in 2018. Since 2018, he has been working as a lecturer (“Lehrkraft für besondere Aufgaben”) in linguistics and EFL Education at Ruhr-University Bochum. He is additionally pursuing his PhD degree. His research interests include second language acquisition, task-based language learning and the role of grammar in ELT.
